Within the Municipal Market we have several stores that are dedicated to the sale of handicrafts that are part of the traditions and common life of the inhabitants of Mexico.
The crafts represent part of the cultural tradition of the people enriched by the contributions of the different regions of the country, made by hand, aided by rudimentary implements that lighten certain tasks, made of various materials intended as utilities, decoration and other purposes Mexican crafts and folk art make Mexico one of the most interesting and complex cultural heritages of the world.
Among the great variety of artistic elements we can find: alebrijes, baked clay, silver and gold jewelry, wood carvings, jade or amber objects, sarapes, charro hats, shawls, pottery from Puebla, piñatas, rag dolls, among many other pieces of art.
